Tagging odeeisawesome for I must show you proof of our twin tumblrs. LOL coffee soon!

Mid-week has come. Obvs. And shame on me for still not being able to get up and book a brow threading appointment. The weather is screwing up my mood and my schedule. I can’t even go from one place to another without a disaster (i.e. traffic jam) ruining my vibe.
BUT FIRST LEMME TAKE A SELFIE

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA Forgive me public restroom mirror, for being creepy and vain. Warning: Inside joke ahead….. "I’m lotus feet now and while I lost a heel because of walking so much around Ayala, I’ll remain to be lotus feet, creeping the shiz out of my friend whose name is Zen. LOL"

Credits for today’s laughathon go to Zenkarla DG. I’ve been laughing from lunchtime ‘til midnight because of her company and unending puns (that’re intended) hahaha She’s crazy. BUT I’M KEEPING UP! LOL

MISTY MONDAY typed all over my fez because like the weather, my eyes have been misty all day —— all because of so much laughter. I HAVE BEEN LAUGHING WITH TEARS IN MY EYES STARTING THE MOMENT I ENTERED THIS BUILDING AND SOMEBODY TOLD ME "Uhm, you’re on the wrong company." HAHAHAHAHAHAHA
In clockwise and in bullet speak, my Monday went a little like….

▪️UNHEALHTY because of these steals from the vendo machine. I only realized the gross aftertaste while brushing my teeth.

▪️NO REGRETS that I ended up in McDo by noon, instead of that supposedly spontaneous lunch with Meann. Haha We talked on the phone instead, while eating, because we’re on both ends of Ayala and we couldn’t meet because of our tight schedule.

▪️NO MORE BLUR because I found my actual eyeglasses! I knew I didn’t throw it away by accident. It was only in one of my drawers, buried under lace and sequins and tangled with a thong. Totally kidding on the thong part. Hahahahahaha!

▪️BORED TO DEATH AFTER SUNSET while taking down last minute pointers and reminders before I come home. I miss eating popcorn while playing tetris and I miss eating ramen with my bestfriend April. *sob*

I’m starting to get sleepy now while typing this so let me cap this entry off with…

Hahahahahahahahaha
The weekend sans the parties and alcohol has been calm and peaceful and amazing.

1. SUNDAY DRIVING all the way to the South to check how things were after the typhoon. Thankful that we saw only minimal damages and nothing that we couldn’t fix.

2. NEVER GROW UP because Papa said I’ll never be too old for him to pick me up / drive me to my friends’ houses - even when I insist that I could just take the cab or drive on my own. I have the best father in the entire universe. I love you Papa!

3. GOLDEN THUMBNAIL hardened by glitters, as my attempt to be even weirder lol

4. PEACE AND QUIET while traipsing around BGC in nothing but a comfy dress and slippers and some nice music to listen to. Though I had to snap out of it quick because I had to go back on the road by sundown so I could return to work.

5. BIG TIME APPETITE while on the road and stopping by at Minute Burger to grab a bite. FYI: They’re now selling Bacon Cheese Burger and Black Pepper Burger. We just had to try both! Hahahaha

6. TAKING A BITE before taking the photo because I’m a hungry monster like that Lol

Lo and behold, my Starbs planner that I’ve been looking for since last month. I only found it this weekend under the seat of our car. Which explains why that July page was empty. Well, sort of. Hahaha Forgive the poor drawing of that ball gown, I’m just so so so happy that I’m back together with my planner that I started writing something on it just anything to lessen the emptiness on its July pages. LOL

Half of my life is tied to this planner so I was kind of kalat with my work lately, screaming “SHIT OO NGA PALA I HAVE THIS DEADLINE TOMORROW!” — that happened thrice during the last two weeks I think. I know, I know, we now live in the modern age where everything can be saved in our tablets and cellphones. And yet, I still remain to be a pen and paper type of person. SHAME. Hahaha Laugh all you want but I seriously have never succeeded in using the notepad app in my iPad or Blackberry. When I lost my planner, I carried around a pad of post its where I wrote down important points in my meetings. It was messy.
LIFE LESSON: For random surprises - look under your car seat. hahahahahaha

Starting with you…”

OKAY NOW I MISS THESE THREE LITTLE BABIES =((

Cookie, Milky and Mango are all in the warm, loving care of three different families now. But among all of them I miss Mango the most (3rd Photo). It was a last minute, hot-and-cold decision. I’m just a little relieved that it’s Thirdy who adopted her. He left our house with Mango in his arms, eyes looking back at me and me with tears running down my cheek. Lol Thirdy was laughing at me. I miss Mango sooooo much. :(

A crappy photo taken by my crappy itouch camera of pretty much the view from the our gate. Despite the power outage and risk of draining their cellphone / laptop batteries, I think every single person in Manila was online in twitter and facebook posting whatever is going on, wherever they are.

Some are too conio: "OMG I was woken up by the howling of the wind! Grabe! hashtag GlendaPH (insert shocked emoji here)"

Some are too obvious: Brown out!!!!” like, talaga?! hahaha

Some are a little funny: "Guys! Nilipad na’ko ni Glenda!"

And some were a little corny: "The cold never bothered me anyway.."

AND I WOULD ADMIT: I was one of them. Hahaha I drained every single bar of my ipad, laptop and cellphone batteries, including all the powerbanks that I could find in our house - just so I could stay connected. It was okay at first. But one by one, each of our gadgets died. With the lights still out, and the internet gone, boredom started to kick in. There was nothing left to do but pig out and talk to each other.

The whole time Typhoon Glenda was going all Queen Elsa on the streets, me and my whole family stayed inside, kept ourselves warm and tried to be ready for whatever may happen. We all prayed for our safety and of those who’re outside battling the storm. And then, for a brief moment, we silently thanked our ancestors for building a house so strong and beautiful, it remained intact for many, many years. My great, great grannies were so wise in choosing this street that never got flooded and in choosing the engineers who made this heritage possible.

As I type this, I remember hearing from the news tonight that our country is expecting another typhoon this weekend. Let’s all be prepared, reschedule our appointments, forego travel plans and more than anything else, pray for each other’s safety. We are a strong country. We can survive this.

Cheating with photo apps to make mi selfie look decent enough to post hahahahaha

It’s after dinner and I just finished having coffee with my mother. Went into my room to dress for bed (err undress for bed? Haha) AC on, television on, cellphones and laptop plugged on the side — OH I AM SO READY TO CRASH =))
